A lighter footprint
A carbon-neutral gathering takes more than a promise.
NWES is working toward a carbon-neutral gathering. This is a commitment with steps, not a slogan.
If you plan events, you will see this in our education programming and in how we run the floor. If you exhibit, you will be asked to take the pledge and cut five parts of your booth footprint.
What we are doing
We want this gathering to leave a smaller carbon footptint. We are not claiming gold standard. We are claiming a path with named actions.
- Exhibitors sign a sustainability pledge.
- Education includes climate and waste, not as decoration.
- Planners leave with tactics they can use on their next program.
